Early Life and Education
Samyuktha Viola Viswanathan was born on November 19, 1998, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, into a Tamil Christian middle-class family. She has a younger brother and an older sister. Her sister, Neha Nathan, is married to Jeffrey Nathan. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall, and her zodiac sign is Scorpio. Her mother tongue is Tamil.
She grew up in Chennai and completed her schooling at Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She was passionate about dance and began training in ballet at the age of seven. However, she was unable to fulfill her dancing aspirations due to an injury. She later pursued a Bachelor of Visual Communication from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai in 2017. She worked with The Little Theatre, a leading non-profit theatre company in India, for three years while in college. Her passion for performance led her to New York University (NYU), where she earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Performance Studies in 2018.
She interned at Blackpearl Photography in Tamil Nadu, India, from April to June 2016, gaining experience in content writing, editing, photography, and client interactions. Prior to that, she interned at Rubecon Communications Pvt. Ltd. in Tamil Nadu from April to May 2015, where she worked in graphic design, content writing, and proofreading.
