Mahua Roy Choudhury was an Indian actress known for her work in Bengali cinema. She is regarded as one of the most successful actresses in Bengali cinema. Throughout her career, she received several accolades, including a Filmfare Award. In 1987, she was posthumously honored with the Best Actress Award at the 5th Damascus International Film Festival for her performance in Aadmi Aur Aurat (1984).
