Aishwarya Rajesh is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She has received several accolades, including four South Indian International Movie Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
Aishwarya began her career as a television presenter on the comedy show Asatha Povathu Yaaru?. After winning the reality show Maanada Mayilada, she was cast in the film Avargalum Ivargalum (2011) and gained prominence with her role in Attakathi (2012). She won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Kaaka Muttai (2014). Her breakthrough roles came with Vada Chennai (2018) and her solo-led film Kanaa (2018), for which she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Tamil.
She made her Malayalam debut with Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017), her Hindi film debut with Daddy (2017), and her Telugu debut with Kousalya Krishnamurthy (2019), a remake of Kanaa.
Aishwarya received critical acclaim for her performances as a struggling married woman in World Famous Lover (2020), a woman fighting to bring back her deceased husband's body in Ka Pae Ranasingam (2020), an NRI in Republic (2021), and a cop in Thittam Irandu (2021).
