Chahat Mani Pandey, also known as Chahat Pandey, is an Indian television actress, model, dancer, and politician. She made her television debut with the serial “Pavitra Bandhan” in 2016. She joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) before the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. She is also a contestant on the reality show “Bigg Boss 18”.

Early Life and Education
Chahat Pandey was born on June 1, 1999, in Chandi Chopra village, Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, India. She grew up in a middle-class Hindu Brahmin family. Her zodiac sign is Gemini. Her mother Bhavna Pandey, is a teacher, and her father, Mani Pandey, passed away when she was young. She has two younger brothers, Rahat Pandey and Sahas Pandey.
Chahat Pandey completed her primary education in Chandi Chopra village up to the 5th standard.[1] She then attended Adarsh School in Jabalpur Naka for her 10th standard and JPB School in Damoh for her 12th standard. Afterwards, she earned a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Katni. Chahat had a keen interest in acting and dance from a young age, participating in various cultural activities at school. To pursue her dream of becoming an actress, she took an acting course in Indore with the Balaji Group. She later moved to Mumbai to further her career in the entertainment industry.
Career (Acting and Political)
Chahat Pandey made her debut in 2016 in the television soap opera Pavitra Bandhan, where she played the role of Mishti Roy Choudhary. She has also appeared in episodic roles in popular crime dramatization series like Savdhaan India, Hoshiyar, Crime Patrol Satark, and India Alert. In 2017, Pandey was featured in the teaser trailer for the soap opera RadhaKrishn as the lead character Radha but was later replaced by Mallika Singh.
In 2019, she portrayed the lead role of Pakhi Parekh in the TV serial Hamari Bahu Silk, where she played a voice artist dubbing for an actress in sensual films. In 2020, she and the other actors on the show complained that they had not received their payment dues and that her landlord was asking her to leave for not paying rent during the COVID-19 lockdown. There were also rumours that she had attempted to kill herself, but she soon refuted them, saying her mother's statement was misunderstood. The issue concerning her payment dues was eventually resolved in 2021.
She portrayed the lead role of Durga Aneja in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya, opposite Avinash Mishra, on Star Bharat from December 2020 to March 2021. From August 2021 to October 2024, she starred in Dangal TV's show Nath, playing the role of Mahua opposite Arjit Taneja, Avinash Mishra, and Ankit Gera in its first season, Nath: Zewar Ya Zanjeer, and later as Mahua's daughter Krishna opposite Arjun Singh Dalal in its sequel, Nath: Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani.[4] Since October 6, 2024, she has been a contestant on Bigg Boss 18: Time Ka Taandav.[2]
Chahat Pandey joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on June 29, 2023. She contested the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from the Damoh constituency but secured only 2,292 votes (1.22% of the total), and lost her deposit. The Damoh seat was won by Jayant Malaiya of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who garnered 112,278 votes (59.79%).[3]
Personal Life
Chahat Pandey is unmarried. She enjoys singing, creating wall art, and shopping in her free time. She is rumoured to be in a 5-year relationship with Gujarati actor Manas R. Shah, which was exposed by Salman Khan. On the other hand, there is a rumour surrounding her relationship with Avinash Mishra.
In June 2020, Chahat Pandey and her mother were arrested by the Mumbai police on charges of breaking into her uncle's apartment and vandalising it.
