Early Life
Jahandad Khan was born on June 16, 2003, Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. His father, a local businessman, encouraged his interest in the game, ensuring he had the support to pursue his dream. He has a brother named Muhammad Salman.
Jahandad Khan started playing cricket at the age of 12 at the Ayub Park Cricket Ground in Rawalpindi. His early cricketing journey began with tape-ball cricket in the streets, a common starting point for many young cricketers in Pakistan. He later trained at the Stars International Cricket Club & Academy in Rawalpindi, where he honed his skills under the guidance of his coach, Mubeen Shahid.
Domestic Career
Jahandad Khan made his first-class debut for Rawalpindi Region against Karachi in the 2023–24 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He made his List A debut against the Federally Administered Tribal Areas on November 1, 2023, in the 2023–24 Pakistan Cup. He made his T20 debut against Abbottabad Region on November 24, 2024, in the 2023–24 National T20 Cup. During the 2024–25 Champions One-Day Cup, he played for the Stallions and finished as the second-highest wicket-taker with 10 wickets. His impressive performances in domestic cricket earned him a spot in the Lahore Qalandars team for the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL). He took his first-ever five-wicket haul in first-class cricket during the 2023–24 President's Trophy, with figures of 7/65 against the State Bank of Pakistan.
International Career
