Domestic Career
Brian Bennett had a successful Under-19 World Cup in 2022–23, finishing as Zimbabwe's top run-scorer with 273 runs in six matches at an average of 45.50. It took Bennett just ten months to make his first-class debut for the Mountaineers, coming in as a concussion substitute for Spencer Magodo.
Brian Bennett made his first-class debut for the Mountaineers in the 2022–23 Four-Day Logan Cup on December 11, 2022. Bennett's first-class career-best unbeaten 264 against the Mashonaland Eagles in February 2024 brought him into the spotlight. He made his T20 debut for the Lions (Zimbabwe) in the 2022–23 Zimbabwe Domestic Twenty20 Competition on February 20, 2023. He made his List A debut for the Southern Rocks in the 2023–24 Zimbabwe Cricket Regionals Pro50 on October 27, 2023.
International Career
Brian Bennett earned his first international call-up during the Ireland tour of Zimbabwe in 2023–24 and made his T20I debut (Cap 75) on 7 December 2023.
